The C. W. Parker Carousel is a carousel built some 100 years ago and that could end up in dozens of private collections but it was saved by a group of carousel lovers. Today it still works and reminds people of the times long gone.
Since the 17th century, carousels are important parts of funfairs and amusement parks. In time, some of them became an important part of a place that they are located at so they became protected by the state.
